About Us

When McCarty's first started in Columbia, IL in 1988, they found that the home improvement stores and distributors would not buy from them until they had been established for a few years. Therefore, they started selling their products to the small contractors and individuals at reasonable prices and soon started making a name for themselves.

After a few years, the box stores contacted them about selling their products but only if they agreed to stop selling directly to the public. They decided to turn down their generous offer and continued to keep selling to the people who had kept them going from the beginning.  We have the same low price for everyone who buys from us. Every customer is equally as important to us as you will note by the personal service you will receive.

In 2005 they expanded and moved 5 miles south to a new location which enabled them to design a more efficient factory and add a spacious 2000 sq ft. show room.

APH Stone and Cabinet Company acquired McCarty's Contemporary Marble in 2024. Travis Kronk, the new owner, is bringing a new modernized vibe to the same great service you're used to. Stay tuned for more updates to come!
